Somerville Cambridge Elder Services (SCES), located in Massachusetts, offers resources, information, advice, and services to seniors, caregivers and disabled people. SCES helps these individuals remain safe and independent by offering assistance in the following areas: Elder Care, Home Care, Aging, Disabilities, Senior Housing, Meals-on-Wheels, and Adult Day Care.

Service Area
While services are primarily offered to older residents of Cambridge, MA and Somerville, MA along with their caregivers, some services are available to younger adults with disabilities, and residents of the Greater Boston area.  To find your local agency, go to www.eldercare.gov, the Eldercare Locator for the U.S. Administration on Aging.

Eligibility
The Aging Information Center is a free information and referral service open to the community.  Additional information and advice is offered through the Elder Care Advice Program, which is also free.  Eligibility requirements vary for the variety of state-subsidized in-home and supportive services offered by SCES for older people, caregivers and adults with disabilities.
