Avoid Scams: SCES Does Not Make Phone Solicitations
Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services does not solicit contributions or donations from our clients over the telephone. Some of our programs do have a token fee which is always requested in writing - never over the phone. With budget cuts and rising needs among the disabled and older adults, SCES is expanding its fund-raising program, but not at the expense of its clients. If someone solicits a donation from you on the phone please contact:

Donald Donato, PR & Development Manager
Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services
617-628-2601 or email ddonato@eldercare.org

Older people are often the target of scams, fraud and exploitation.
