Family Caregiver Support Program

The Family Caregiver Support Program offers services to support caregivers. Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services partners with community agencies to provide respite services, educational activities, and support groups.

Services

  • Short-term, one-on-one consultation
  • Assistance with family meetings
  • Caregiver support groups
  • Educational workshops for caregivers
  • Educational materials
  • Caregiver Services Fund to assist with small grants for caregiver needs

Eligibility

  • Caregivers of adults 60 years or older
  • Caregivers for persons with Alzheimer's disease or related memory disorders
  • Grandparents or other relatives who are age 60 or older and care for children under age 18 or who have developmental disabilities
